SFI/FIA & SNELL CERTIFICATION YOUTH & ADULT HELMETS
The IMPACT RACING Youth Helmet is designed to meet SFI Youth Helmet Certification standards. The SFI Youth Helmet Specification allows the helmet to react at different impact and energy levels than helmets designed specifically for ultra high speed. Ultra high speed, high energy certification standards generally require harder shell and liner construction. For youth, with growing heads softer than the heads of adults, a softer designed SFI Youth Specification helmet shell and liner will absorb, dissipate and self-destruct more readily at the energies and speeds of youth motors p o r t s . The lil’champ youth helmet is approved for use by WKA, NHRA & IKF. AIl adult IMPACT RACING Helmets are certified to SFI/FIA & SNELL Standards.

PRODUCT CARE INFORMATION

RESTRAINT SYSTEMS

All components of a restraint system should be inspected regularly and prior to every use, including the webbing, stitching, release mechanism, adjusters, and anchor points. Check the webbing for fraying, abrasion, nicks, cuts or other damage. Check all stitching for broken or damaged threads. All hardware should operate smoothly as new and be free of deformation. A simple, common sense inspection that indicates a system ‘Doesn’t look right’, means it probably is not. REMOVE THE SYSTEM FROM SERVICE IMMEDIATELY
Impact Racing will only inspect and recertify Impact Systems. Always use the Restraint System adjusted correctly and never run a loosely adjusted harness. Installed webbing lengths should be kept as short as possible for best performance. If you have any questions regarding the use or installation of your restraint system, please contact Impact Racing.
RESTRAINT SYSTEM RECERTIFICATION AND REWEBBING
It is recommended that Restraint Systems be re-certified at least every two years. However webbing that is fraying, been exposed to harmful solvents, chemicals, or acids, or prolonged exposure to outdoor elements, may need to be re-certified sooner. Consult your Sanctioning Body for their specific restraint system requirements.

Impact Racing will only inspect and recertify Impact Systems. For SFI 16.1 recertification and reweb service contact Impact Racing.
